Book next project says Anna
01-04-2007 | Anna Holland
Now I must bid you farewell – this is my last article. I loved writing them, and from all the phone calls, emails and feedback that I have been getting over the past two years, you have loved reading them. Tony Leggett, the editor, thought I may struggle to find topics for 12 articles, but, never lost for words, and 27 later, it’s time to hang up my mouse. Actually that is not entirely true. I’m going to collate all the articles into a book. Just think – no restrictions on the number of words, photos and diagrams. I’ll be able to write, draw and photograph to my heart’s delight. As a friend said “it will be like the Encyclopaedia Britannica”. And remember – if you have a dog it deserves good weather-proof, clean housing, enough food daily to keep it in optimum healthy condition, clean water, a run at least once a day to stretch its legs and keep constipation at bay, and praise from time to time, for a job well done. For those of you who have missed some of my articles they can be found on the internet. Go to www.country-wide.co.nz and scroll down the right hand side of the page. In the Search section click on > Advanced search. Then click the blue arrow in the section beside Author. All Country-Wide’s writers will come up. Click on Anna Holland. Editor’s note: I admit I had to be convinced that a column about training and breeding dogs would be welcome in Country-Wide. However, the feedback on Anna’s columns suggests otherwise. She can be contacted in future on email at annaholland@xtra.co.nz or phone 027 2844639.
